WE ARE HIRING FOR A NEW AWESOME STAGING TEAM MEMBER!!
This position is ideal for someone that wants to be part of an incredible team and is NOT looking for a full-time position. Shifts typically between 4-8 hours, scheduled during operating hours of 7:30 am to 4:00 pm Monday – Friday, and rarely on weekends. This is NOT a full time position. Need to be available during working hours, and flexible schedule. Our base/start place is South Gilbert/Queen Creek, AZ. THIS JOB REQUIRES LIFTING FURNITURE!
As a Staging Assistant, you will be helping home sellers present the best version of their house to their target buyers.
You will assist in staging and destaging homes, as well as work in our warehouse of decor and furniture.
Responsibilities:
-Help execute stagings. Tasks include; making beds, hanging artwork, unpacking bins, styling throughout, minimal moving of bins and accessories out of the design van (there are movers on site to execute most of the moving), some light cleaning of any run or upholstery stains, cleaning mirrors etc.
-Inventory; Moving items into and out of jobs, adding new inventory as its being sourced.
-Destaging- packing up a job that is ready to be removed. Designers are responsible for packing up all bedding, accessories, pillows.
-Warehouse Management- Putting accessories back onto the shelves in the warehouse when they come back from a de-staging. Keeping the accessories side of the warehouse organized, labeling bedding and lamp shades. Light maintenance sweeping and vacuuming of only the accessories portion of the warehouse.
-Social Media- Posting stories or building reels for the business social media. There is currently a designer that does this, but there may be a need to fulfill this role at times.
-Sourcing- Finding pieces for upcoming projects.
-Staging Planning- Designing upcoming projects and picking furnishings that work best in a space.
-Meetings/Site Visits- You and one-two other designers will walk all staging projects, get photos and take extensive notes and measurements to fulfill the needs of the project.
-Possible administration work like sending contracts or updating the website could also be a possibility.
Requirements
Must be eligible to work in the United States
Must have reliable transportation to and from warehouse and to job sites.
Good driving record with valid driver’s license
We are a smoke-free environment
Must be able to lift and carry minimum of 50 lbs. We move totes, sofas, chairs etc.
Job Types: Part-time, Contract
Pay: $18.46 – $25.00 per hour
Expected hours: 1 – 35 per week
Benefits:
– Paid training
Schedule:
– 4 hour shift
– 8 hour shift
– Monday to Friday
– Weekends as needed
