Part-Time, 20 – 30 hrs (with an aim to give up to 40 hours per week)

ECD is expanding, and we have an opportunity for you to join our growing team. We hire outgoing, motivated, goal-oriented, organized problem solvers who have great communication skills and a desire to work in a fast-paced environment.

We are looking for a Home Stager-Mover who is task-driven and likes to check off that to-do list.

This job includes building furniture for inventory, organizing our warehouse, and working in a team environment daily.

While performing the duties of this position, the employee frequently is required to use their hands to handle or feel objects, tools, or controls.

The employee is required to stand, walk, sit, reach, climb or balance, and stoop, kneel, or crouch.

The employee must lift and/or move up to 65 pounds frequently. We are a staging/interior design company and moving furniture is what we do, goal-oriented and motivated personnel are what we are looking for. A great attitude goes a long way.

Responsibilities

Moving furniture – 75%
Assembling furniture – 25%
Work with designers as stage assistants to prepare the set for staging delivery
Complete damage reports
Package finished products(shrink wrapping, boxing, labeling)
Stage finished products for loading
Load finished products onto a truck when needed
Moving waste from warehouse to dumpsters
Being responsible for quality control
Use of inventory software
Use of various technologies for communication e.g slack, tsheets, and google calendar
Operating within standard procedures and job safety
Communicating openly with other departments
Cleaning and maintaining work area
Qualifications

Can lift up to 65 lbs
Able to use basic tools (e.g. drill, hammer, screwdriver )
High school diploma
Valid Driver’s License (preferred)
Enjoy being in a dynamic job where no task is above or below you
Must be organized and motivated
