We are seeking a reliable and physically fit Mover/Home Staging Assistant to join our team. As a Mover/Home Staging Assistant, you will play a crucial role in assisting with the smooth execution of home staging projects. Your primary responsibility will be to handle the safe and efficient transportation of furniture, decor items, and staging supplies to various properties.

Responsibilities:

Loading and Unloading: Safely and efficiently load and unload furniture, décor items, and staging supplies from trucks and transport them to and from staging locations as well as returning items to warehouse and restocking shelves.
Furniture Assembly and Disassembly: Assist in assembling and disassembling furniture as needed, ensuring proper handling and care to avoid damage.
Transportation: Drive company vehicles, including box trucks or vans, to transport staging items to designated properties. Adhere to traffic laws and maintain a clean driving record.
Inventory Management: Assist in maintaining inventory records of staging items, ensuring accurate documentation of items being transported and received.
Logistics Coordination: Coordinate with the Home Staging team to ensure timely delivery and pickup of staging items to and from properties. Communicate any delays or issues promptly to ensure smooth operations.
Physical Setup: Assist in the physical setup of furniture, décor items, and staging materials within properties, following guidelines provided by the Home Stager and/or Operations Manager.
Equipment Maintenance: Perform regular maintenance checks on company vehicles and staging equipment to ensure they are in good working condition. Report any maintenance or repair needs promptly.
Safety Compliance: Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines during transportation, loading, and unloading activities to ensure the well-being of team members and the protection of staging items.
Team Collaboration: Collaborate effectively with the Home Staging team to support the overall staging process, offering assistance and sharing feedback or suggestions when necessary.
Warehouse/Office Maintenance – Sweep warehouse, empty trash, clean areas as assigned to help maintain a client friendly environment.
All other duties as assigned by management.
Qualifications:

Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
Physical fitness and ability to lift heavy furniture and staging items.
Experience in furniture moving, logistics, or related fields preferred.
Excellent time management and organizational skills.
Ability to follow directions and work well in a team environment.
Attention to detail to ensure proper handling and setup of staging items.
Strong communication skills to effectively coordinate with team members.
Flexibility to adapt to changing schedules and priorities.
Knowledge of proper lifting and moving techniques to prevent injuries.
Familiarity with basic tools for furniture assembly and disassembly is a plus.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $19.00 – $22.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30 – 40 per week
