Impact Home Staging Experts, a renowned home merchandising company in Michigan, is on the hunt for talented and creative Home Stagers to join the team. Since 2004, they have successfully transformed over 10,000 properties with their staging services. Their track record shows that 91% of their properties receive a viable offer within 30 days.
The main role of the Home Stager they are seeking is to turn properties into appealing, marketable products for resale. They have two positions open, one for servicing primarily west-side communities including Novi, Canton, Northville, and Ann Arbor. The second one is for servicing primarily east/northeast communities including Chesterfield, St. Clair Shores, Gross Pointe and Detroit.
The responsibilities of the Home Stager will include independently meeting with real estate agents, investors, builders, and homeowners. They would assess the property and offer a recommended staging plan. They would also have to select suitable furniture, decor, lighting, and art from Impact’s inventory to optimize a home’s appeal. If the homes are occupied, they would also advise on color schemes, furniture placement, and decor options.
They will be expected to meet a set sales target, explore new markets, and nurture strong relationships with clients. An integral part of their role would also involve maintaining a robust social media presence to promote Impact’s work and services.
The required skills for this job include strong communication, meticulous attention to detail, flexibility, and creativity. The Home Stager should be physically capable of lifting up to 50 lbs, have a keen eye for aesthetics, and work comfortably with technology for effective communication with the team and the clients. The Home Stager should be able to make design decisions quickly and organize paperwork related to staging.
The Home Stager should have their own computer with Microsoft Word and Excel for timely submission of timesheets and customer correspondence. They should also have a smartphone with text capabilities and a camera for taking before and after photos. They should have a basic toolbox which includes items like a hammer, minor cleaning supplies, nails, screwdriver, and a magic eraser.
Professional attire is a requirement for this job. Casual jogging or exercise apparels are not acceptable. The job is part-time, with a pay rate of $17.00 – $18.00 per hour and the expected work hours are 20-30 per week, from Monday to Friday.
