House Warmers Staging and Interior Design are in search of a proactive, well-organized, and imaginative Home Stager to be part of their team.
They are looking for an individual well-versed in the interior design domain. Someone quick to learn and maintains professionalism in client meetings. They appreciate a good team player. The company is a boutique staging business based in South San Francisco. Mostly, they stage homes in the San Jose Area but their work takes them all across the Bay.
Responsibilities of the role include designing stages using the company’s inventory. This also involves delivering items and coordinating with the moving team and staging assistant for installations. Day-to-day warehouse operations management falls under the role’s remit. Alongside this, the candidate will assist the Owner with any inventory upgrades and partake in shopping for new inventory, online and in-store.
To qualify for the job, a minimum of 2 years of experience in the field and related ones such as interior design, is required. The candidate should possess organizational skills, attention to detail, and strong networking skills for expanding business connections. High School diploma or GED is a must, and a college degree is desirable but not compulsory. The role needs a person who can communicate professionally, both orally and in writing, with clients and other vendors. The physical requirements of the job include the ability to walk, stand, lift, bend, kneel, and climb a ladder. A licensed driver having their car and willing to commute for jobs throughout the bay area is required.
The compensation package includes 15% of the stage price per stage, with staging prices ranging between $1,500 to $10,000. Admin hours such as organizing the warehouse, shopping, and de-staging will be compensated at a rate of $20-30 an hour, based on experience.
