They are seeking an experienced Warehouse Manager to supervise and improve daily operations in their furniture warehouse based in Stamford, CT. This is a senior-level role that reports to the Owner directly, handling integral tasks such as inventory, fulfillment, team management, and logistics.

They are in search of an individual who is structured, active, and hands-on. The ideal candidate would have a background in warehouse work, preferably in the furniture, moving, or fulfillment sectors. This person would need to lead a team confidently, control inventory, and ensure that every order is delivered on schedule and in perfect condition.

The Warehouse Manager must manage daily warehouse operations, guarantee an orderly and organized space, pick stock, and prepare orders as per job requirements. The duties would also include careful and efficient packing, loading, and transportation of furniture. Furniture delivery and set up at customer sites is also crucial.

It would also involve recruitment, training, and managing the warehouse team. Overseeing shipping and receiving tasks as well as running and administering inventory reports are a fundamental part of the role.

The Warehouse Manager needs strong leadership and organizational skills along with proficiency in inventory systems and basic computer knowledge. An ability to read and execute printed job orders, experience of driving a 20-foot truck (non-CDL), physical capability to lift and move hefty furniture, and skills in wrapping, packing, assembling, and minor furniture repairs are required.

The job requires a Valid U.S. Driver’s License and a clean driving record. A minimum of 2+ years of supervisory and warehouse experience (Preferred) as well as a high school diploma (Preferred) are required. Applicants also need to provide 3 professional references.

They offer various benefits including paid time off and bonus pay opportunities. The job is full-time, paying $60,000.00 – $65,000.00 per year.

The work schedule includes day shifts from Monday to Friday, with no weekends. The work location is in person.
