The main responsibility of the Home Stager is to design and implement solutions that best showcase properties, making them more attractive to potential clients.
The role involves working closely with real estate agents and homeowners to understand their staging needs and goals. The Home Stager will also be required to design staging concepts and layouts using software like SketchUp, Adobe Creative Suite, and Rhinoceros 3D.
It will be the responsibility of the Home Stager to source, select and handle purchasing of furniture, decor and item to create welcoming spaces. The staging projects need to be implemented from start to finish. The Home Stager will need to assure deadlines are met and quality standards are maintained.
Having good project management skills to manage logistics including delivery and setting up of staging materials is required. The Home Stager is expected to carry out on-site assessments to determine the best staging strategies based on property features and target market. Recommendations for lighting enhancements to improve the overall feel of the staged homes should also be provided by the Home Stager.
Keeping an organized inventory of staging materials and furnishings is another task the Home Stager will undertake. Experience in home staging or interior design is necessary. It’s important to be proficient in design software such as SketchUp, Adobe Creative Suite, Bluebeam, or similar tools.
Superb project management skills are important to juggle several projects at the same time. The role calls for excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively work with clients and team members. Knowledge of sales principles related to real estate is beneficial. The candidate should be able to work independently or be part of a team in a fast-paced setting.
Creativity, attention to detail and a love for aesthetics are key for this role. The job is perfect for someone excited about interior design with the ability to create stunning home environments.
The position is part-time, paying between $25.00 – $30.00 per hour. The expected hours per week range from 5 – 25. The candidate needs to have a minimum of two years of home staging experience, hold the ability to commute to Hunt Valley, MD 21031, and preferably relocate to the same location before starting work.
