Team Metric Inc, a home staging and interior design company based in San Jose, CA, is seeking a detail-oriented and energetic home stager/stylist.

The candidate will join their fun, close-knit team where good communication is highly valued. This person should possess an artistic yet organized approach to design, have an understanding of furniture scale and space planning, be adept at selecting furniture, artwork, and accessories. A successful candidate will create beautiful and unique staging designs for luxury home projects.

The role will involve working on 2-6 installations per week. This includes visiting new listings for initial Staging Consultation, completing detailed staging reports for listing clients, selecting unique furniture and accessories for each property, creating staging plans for both vacant and occupied listings.

The candidate will also need to coordinate with 3rd parties such as movers and contractors. Close work with the warehouse manager and logistics team is also part of the role to ensure staging installs progress efficiently and with clear direction. Handling of staging accents with care during packing and unpacking is a key aspect of the role.

Previous experience in home staging or interior design is preferred. The person should love all aspects of design, be enthusiastic about styling, decor and staging. A willingness to be a team player is key, along with hard work, discipline and the ability to work efficiently alone or as a part of a team.

The candidate should be highly organized, resourceful, self-motivated and proactive. Physical endurance to lift up to 30lbs is required. Excellent customer service skills, strong verbal, written, and organizational skills are expected. The ability to drive with a valid California driver’s license, and possession of a vehicle with valid insurance is a must. Bi-lingual applicants with English and Mandarin language proficiency are preferred but it is not a deal-breaker if they are not.

The role is part-time and hourly paid at the rate of $20-$30 per hour. The work location would be in San Jose area.

This part-time role pays between $20.00 and $30.00 per hour.

A valid driver’s license and the ability to commute to San Jose, CA 95131 is required. Chinese language proficiency is also necessary.

All work will be carried out in person.
