Pride of Place, a fast-paced real estate home staging company based in Pasadena, CA, is actively seeking an efficient and skilled Warehouse Manager. This full-time, on-site role is essential for the accomplishment of their staging projects. It involves managing their inventory of furniture and decor items, ensuring everything is organized, maintained, and delivered promptly and efficiently.

The company is looking for a proactive operations leader with previous experience who can effectively manage the demands of a busy and dynamic warehouse environment. The ideal applicant should have a strong interest in logistics, an ability to maintain order, and a willingness to engage in hands-on tasks.

In terms of responsibilities, the Warehouse Manager will be expected to take charge of and manage the warehouse team, promoting team spirit and efficacy. They are responsible for overseeing all warehouse operations including receiving, storing, managing the inventory, and dispatching staging items. Preparing the staging inventory for daily tasks in coordination with the design team and loaders is another crucial role, aimed at ensuring project execution happens on time.

Keeping the warehouse layout optimized is a mandatory task which involves physically reorganizing furniture to make the most of space and protect inventory. Maintaining accurate inventory records, continuously improving organizational systems, and inspecting incoming inventory for damages is included in the role. Furthermore, enforcing safety protocols and ensuring policy compliance, interacting with suppliers and logistics partners to manage deliveries and handle shipping inconsistencies also come under their umbrella of responsibilities.

Required qualifications for the position include demonstrated warehouse management experience, preferably within the furniture, interior design, or home staging industries. Bilingual proficiency in Spanish and English is necessary. Additional requirements include strong organizational skills, attention to detail, excellent communication skills, proficiency with inventory software, and an ability to handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced setting. The person should possess problem-solving skills, a solution-oriented, hands-on approach, and be capable of lifting and moving furniture up to 60 lbs. A professional appearance, demeanor, reliable smartphone access, and a valid driver’s license are also required.
