The company is in search of a trustworthy and dedicated Furniture Mover to become a part of their home staging team. The role of the candidate would be to help with the loading and unloading of furniture and décor pieces into and out of the residences they are staging. This physically active position is crucial in creating stunning, staged places for the company’s clients. Punctuality, physical strength and capability to work well in a team is what the company is seeking in the ideal candidate.

The responsibilities that the candidate needs to undertake would include loading and unloading of furniture and décor from box trucks. The candidate also has to move and organize furniture in houses, based on instructions given by the stagers. Wrapping, packing and safeguarding items to avoid damage during transportation is also one of the tasks. The candidate should maintain clean and organized workspaces like the warehouse, truck and job sites. Directions from staging leads need to be followed and the ability to adapt to changing project needs is expected. Efficient team working to meet deadlines for staging or de-staging houses is also a part of the job.

The skills and requirements for candidates include the capacity to lift, carry and move over 50 lbs routinely and being comfortable working on their feet and doing physical labor throughout the day. Dependable transportation to reach job sites or the warehouse is a requirement. Strong teamwork and communication skills are also necessary.

This is a part-time job and the pay varies between $24.17 and $29.10 per hour. The work location has to be in person.
