The team is on the lookout for dedicated and reliable Movers. As part of this role, the person will assist with loading and unloading items during home stagings. The jobholder plays a critical part in ensuring belongings are safely transported. The role requires physical stamina and teamwork capabilities. The team stages a home every day from Monday to Friday.
Key responsibilities within this role include loading and unloading items from the warehouse to the trucks. It’s important that the items are securely packed for transport. The role involves driving vehicles such as box trucks for deliveries and moving items. It may also require operating moving equipment like dollies and pallet jacks for heavy items. The person will also assist with packing, wrapping and organizing items for safety during transport. Performing heavy lifting of furniture and other large items is a common requirement for this role. In addition, maintaining a clean and organized work environment is key to the role.
Previous experience in a warehouse is an asset as it benefits understanding logistics and operations. The role requires the ability to perform heavy lifting consistently. Proficiency in safe moving techniques is also a requirement for the role.
The job is full-time with an hourly pay of $25. The expected hours per week are between 35 to 50. Benefits offered include dental insurance, health insurance, mileage reimbursement, and vision insurance. The work location for this role is in person.
