They are currently in the market for a Freelance Staging Designer. The person in this role would be charged with playing an integral part in designing and implementing staging concepts on a project-by-project basis. This presents a prime opportunity for a seasoned staging expert who thrives under pressure and relishes the thrill of creatively transforming a property earmarked for sale.

The job responsibilities encompass working closely with the team to conceptualize and create staging designs. The ideal candidate will be tasked with choosing and drawing furniture, art, and accessories from an in-house stash and collaborating with vendor partners.

This person will oversee the installation, on-site styling, and eventual breakdown. It is imperative that every property be staged to accentuate its best features and to cater to the tastes of potential buyers. The Freelance Staging Designer will manage staging days, working hand in hand with movers and assistants.

The requirements for this role are vast. A minimum of three years’ hands-on experience in a professional home staging role is essential. It is expected that this person has a strong design acumen, as evidenced by a portfolio of previously staged properties.

The ability to efficiently operate under stringent deadlines is a crucial trait to possess. Knowledge of staging inventory, sourcing vendors, and furniture rentals is a must. Comfort with on-the-ground physical work and reliable transportation within Los Angeles is also a part of the job description.

The compensation package is quite attractive. Payment is on a per-project basis, with the rate being contingent on the project’s scope and individual experience level. The potential for sustained collaborations exists as and when new projects come up.
