First Home Staging has been a full-service home staging company in Orange County since 2016. They are currently looking for an experienced interior designer or home stager to join their team. The hired individual will lead in home staging with assistance from the team. They need someone who has a strong work ethic, can work well with a team, and possesses a passion for design. The work schedule will vary with most hours falling from Monday to Friday.

The successful candidate will walk through homes to execute a staging plan and furniture layout. Preparation at the warehouse for the installation day will be required, along with directing the movers. The successful candidate will lead the team on the installation day ensuring smooth staging, and conducting quality control at the end of the staging day. Other responsibilities will include packing and unpacking home accessories, de-staging of vacant and occupied homes, and creating content for social media.

Additionally, they will collaborate on re-design projects, and work hand in hand with the staff to coordinate, plan, and execute both vacant and occupied staging projects, from estimating to installing. The job may require the candidate to handle other duties as assigned.

The job requires an individual with an eye for design, who is organized, and pays close attention to details. The candidate must be capable of lifting up to 50 lbs with ease. Computer savvy individuals who have experience with Google Docs, Excel, and Word are encouraged to apply. A valid driver’s license is required, along with reliable transportation and the willingness to travel to job sites throughout Orange County. The candidate should also have excellent multi-tasking abilities and on-the-spot thinking skills. They should be able to creatively solve problems related to staging projects and client situations.

This position is part-time and offers a flexible work schedule with a pay of $20.00 to $30.00 per hour. The successful candidate must answer an application question, and whether they are able to work from Monday to Friday, from 8 am to 5 pm. The annual workload often increases from March to September.

The position requires at least two years of experience in interior design or home staging. Moreover, an interior design degree or certificate is mandatory. This job is an in-person role.
