This team is on the hunt for dedicated and reliable Movers. The chosen applicants will be tasked with assisting in the transportation and relocation of goods for clients. As a Mover, the successful candidate will play a vital role in ensuring items are carefully loaded, transported, and unloaded at their final location.
The key duties for this role include loading and unloading items from trucks and other vehicles in a safe and efficient manner. Driving box trucks (up to 26ft) or other vehicles as needed for the transportation of goods will also be involved in the tasks. The job requires ensuring that all items are properly secured during transport to prevent any damage. As well as being able to assemble furniture.
The Mover will be responsible for providing standout customer service by effectively communicating with clients throughout the moving process. Also, assisting in packing and unpacking items when needed, making sure that all belongings are handled with care. The job also involves maintaining a clean and organized work environment in the warehouse and during moves. This includes tasks like trash pick up and cardboard breakdowns. Hanging Art is also one of the duties of a Mover. All tasks have to be performed while adhering to safety protocols and guidelines.
The ideal candidate should be able to perform heavy lifting (up to 50 pounds or more) consistently throughout the workday. Experience in driving commercial vehicles, including box trucks, is a plus. Familiarity with manual transmission vehicles would also be beneficial for this role. The successful candidate should possess strong customer service skills to interact positively with clients during moves. Any previous experience in staging/warehouse operations or as a courier would be advantageous. The job also requires basic knowledge of loading techniques and safety practices related to moving goods. The right person for this role will have the ability to work well within a team environment while also being self-motivated.
