The luxury home staging and design firm, Green Couch, located in San Francisco, CA, is hiring a full-time, onsite Junior Staging Designer. They are offering to pay $25-$30 per hour, based on experience.

Green Couch, renowned for its contemporary, artsy aesthetic, is in search of a creative Junior Staging Designer to join its dynamic staging team.

This role will appeal to anyone passionate about aesthetics, real estate, staging, and interior designing with a yearning to be part of the coolest staging team in the Bay Area.

In this position, the Junior Staging Designer will work closely with designers and installers to style, install, and execute aesthetically pleasing interiors for homes across the Bay Area. The role involves design as well as logistical tasks. They will also support activities such as installation, styling, inventory coordination, and warehouse organization and transform bare houses into stunning spaces similar to those in magazines.

Some of the day-to-day tasks include executing Green Couch’s unique staging aesthetic using existing inventory, collaborating with designers to understand every home’s objectives and style direction. They will also work on styling furniture, accessories, artworks, plants, and decor for interior and exterior spaces.

Aside from staging installations, this role entails assisting with furniture removals and resets after listings close, preparing for installations, and coordinating with the installers and moving teams. Other tasks include maintaining the inventory management system, managing warehouse tasks, and keeping up-to-date on design and staging trends.

Qualified candidates should ideally have a background in interior design, staging, or real estate design. They should also be comfortable working on-site and in the warehouse.

A strong communication skill set, a collaborative mindset, attention to detail, and problem-solving abilities are essential. The ability to thrive in high-pressure environments and a customer-service orientation are required as well. The candidate should be flexible, teachable, and eager to grow.

They should also be physically capable of lifting up to 50 lbs and assisting with light furniture assembly. Knowledgeable about safe furniture handling practices, the candidate should have a reliable car and a valid CA driver’s license.

The regular schedule is Monday through Friday, from approximately 9:00 AM to 5:30 PM, with occasional evenings or weekends during peak periods.
