They are seeking a dedicated full-time Staging Assistant. This person plays a supportive role for the Lead Stager, assisting with both staging tasks and administrative duties. The job demands are quite varied, hence requiring a solid team player, capable of managing an assortment of responsibilities. The job requires to work in the San Francisco Bay Area which includes locations like Marin, SF, Mid-Peninsula, and East Bay. The daily shift starts at 7:30 am, but might require an early morning start, working late evenings or even over the weekend.
The Staging Assistant’s responsibilities include pre-stage activities that entail pulling furniture and decor, carrying out operation activities, and managing on-site location activities. These on-site activities range from placing of furniture as per the floor plan, making beds, cleaning, touch-ups, hanging decor and odd errands. Certain tasks such as picking up and returning keys to staged properties or moving items to and from properties will also be requested.
Wrapping of accessories will be a critical aspect of the role, as will be loading and unloading of lightweight furniture, home accessories and large artwork pieces, and storage bins from vehicles and trucks. The individual will also have to supervise the stage and destage bins to ensure their readiness.
Administrative tasks also feature in this role. The individual will need to frame marketing plans which include producing monthly newsletters, creating daily Instagram stories, and planning Instagram posts thrice a week. The person will also have to create and order marketing materials, keeping the warehouse and art area tidy and organized. The use of their Inventory Management System to barcode furniture, decor, art, and bedding is also required.
Serving as a personal assistant in certain cases will be expected where the individual assists owners with varied personal requests. This could range from running personal errands to child care duties and scheduling of personal itineraries.
As per the qualifications required, the candidate should hold a current driver’s license, a good driving record, and reliable transportation. A positive attitude, attention to detail, professional communication skills, and resilience in a daily changing environment are expected. The candidate should be able to excel in a professional, dynamic, and deadline-driven environment with the ability to take ownership of their performance. They will be required to engage in physical activity occasionally with an ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
The job type ranges from full-time to part-time with a pay scale of $50,000-$60,000 per year. Benefits include dental, health, and life insurance, along with paid time off, and vision insurance. The work location will be in person rather than remotely.
