The company is a home staging/interior design business that leverages the efficiency of their warehouse as the core of their operations. They are currently on the hunt for a dedicated and seasoned mover to complement their warehouse team.
The primary role involves a trustworthy, seasoned mover becoming part of the warehouse crew. This person will play a crucial role in preserving order within the warehouse and ensuring furniture is securely transported to and from staging locations.
The duties of this role cover helping with loading, transport, and unloading of furniture and decor. Also, the staff is expected to pack items safely and securely ready for delivery and staging setup. They will work collaboratively with the design team to implement layouts as proposed. Operating and maintaining company trucks safely is also part of their responsibility. In addition, they will aid in setting up and dismantling staging projects, frequently under stringent deadlines.
There are several requirements for this position. The person should have a minimum of 5 years’ experience in the moving industry. They need to have a valid driver’s license and an unsullied driving record (a commercial license is preferred) and must have personal transportation. The person must be able to lift and carry up to 75 lbs on a regular basis. They must possess strong organizational skills, a fundamental understanding of furniture handling and loading best practices, superior communication and teamwork skills. Above all, they should be punctual, dependable, and flexible in adapting to shifting priorities.

The job offers a starting payment of $20 per hour, with potential increments based on experience. The position can be full-time or part-time and includes the benefit of a company truck. The pay rate begins at $20.00 per hour. The work location is primarily on the road.
