In this role, your duties will encompass the collaboration with senior designers in a bid to generate staging concepts that uplift property features and attracts target buyers. Also, you will assist in the selection of furniture, accessories, lighting fixtures, and color schemes that gel with the client goals and concurrent design trends. Additionally, you will be required to aid in project management tasks that include scheduling, budgeting, and coordination with contractors and vendors. Participating in site visits for inspections, measurements, and supervising the installation process, to make sure quality standards are met, will be another crucial area of your work.
Your skill set will need to include proficiency in design software. A thorough understanding of interior design principles – like space planning, color theory, lighting design and refurbishing techniques – is highly sought after. Being familiar with construction procedures, renovation projects, and contract management is also beneficial. You should be able to manage several tasks simultaneously under your purview, and also possess excellent communication skills for working with clients, vendors, and team members. Additionally, a proactive attitude towards home staging, interior design, and creating visually stunning spaces is favored. Having a reliable source of transport and the ability to work in person from Monday through Friday are prerequisites for this job.
