Oasis Staging + Design, a Honolulu-based home staging and interior design company, is expanding its team. They work closely with real estate agents, homeowners, and investors on Oahu to design properties with a keen eye for detail. They are in search of a dependable, innovative, design-enthusiastic individual to contribute to their content and social media presence.
The job opportunity at hand is for a local content creator and social media assistant. This role will be ideal for a creatively inclined individual who has an interest in interior design, social media, and visual storytelling.
In this role, you will regularly document their work behind the scenes of home staging projects about once or twice a week. Moreover, you will be expected to produce 3-4 Instagram posts and a Reel each week. The tasks also include editing and organizing photos and video clips for posting.
The incumbent will be required to follow and implement Oasis’s visual style and tone consistently. Drafting captions and scheduling content will also be your responsibility. Occasionally, you may be asked to reuse blog or email content for social media posts.
The potential hire needs to be based in Oahu being able to attend shoots in person. The knowledge and experience in video editing tools, specifically CapCut, InShot, Adobe Premiere Rush are essential. Also, a strong understanding of Instagram’s features and current trends is expected. Besides being detail-oriented, you should also meet deadlines.
While experience in using Canva or Adobe tools will be an advantage, other valued bonus skills include photography or drone operations skills and knowledge of interior design or real estate marketing.
This role offers a flexible schedule that provides the opportunity to evolve with the role. The type of employment is part-time, with compensation ranging from $20.00 – $25.00 per hour. The position allows for a hybrid remote work location in Honolulu, HI 96819.
