Part of the role involves using the proven impact of staging on property sales. It’s a known fact that staged homes sell up to 50% faster and for up to 20% more than non-staged homes, with this position being pivotal in achieving such results.

The responsibilities of the role include conducting in-home Walk & Talk Consultations with sellers. This involves providing easy to understand solutions on how to de-personalize items, declutter rooms, adjust room layouts, and preparing the property for the market. The Staging Consultant also has to provide homeowners with a detailed step-by-step report after every consultation.
It’s important to maintain professional communication with both the listing agent and the seller at all times. They must be clear on expectations, timelines, and the next steps of the process, while managing multiple projects without losing attention to detail and strict deadlines.
They’re also required to work with real estate agents and homeowners to stage homes for sale, including full and partial staging projects that are in line with EmpowerHome standards. They are also obliged to complete home makeovers as well as updates for resale as needed, with each property having to align with its target buyer and architectural style.
The qualifications start with having experience in home staging, interior design, or real estate. They should be currently studying or have a degree in Home Staging, Interior Design, or a related field. They need to understand design principles and spatial awareness, having the ability to work with various design styles and constraints.
Being tech-savvy and comfortable using staging or design apps is a must. They should have strong written and verbal communication skills. Being highly organized, dependable, and detail-oriented is crucial.
The role involves lifting and moving of décor and furniture, and a willingness to travel locally with a flexible schedule.
