As a Delivery and Warehouse Specialist, the employee will be expected to handle tasks such as:
– Loading tagged and packed furniture, artwork, and decor onto a 16ft box truck.
– Transporting these items to job sites.
– Setting up larger products like dining tables, beds, and sofas at these job sites.
– Packing up projects from job sites and transporting them back to the warehouse.
– Keeping the warehouse clean and organized.
– Assembling furniture.
– Managing RFID inventory.
Preferred qualifications for the role include prior delivery driver experience. An absolute requirement is a clean driving record coupled with a valid Texas driver’s license. The employee needs to be available to work from around 8:30 am to 1 pm from Monday to Friday. They should be capable of lifting up to 75 pounds.
Other essential qualities involve being reliable, punctual, accountable and possessing a keen eye for detail and organisation. They must also be a team player able to work in stressful situations to meet deadlines and also comfortable spending long hours standing, moving, and carrying heavy items.
The position is part-time with a pay of $20 per hour and the benefit of having a flexible schedule. The potential employee should have reliable daily transportation to the warehouse.
