Simply Dwell in Jacksonville, FL, a leading home staging company, is seeking reliable Movers/Drivers for their staging team. The job involves delivering, loading, and installing furniture and decor in various homes across Northeast Florida. This is a chance to transform homes to make sure they are market-ready.

Job responsibilities include loading and unloading staging furniture and decor both at the warehouse and job sites. They will drive the company’s box trucks to various staging locations throughout Northeast Florida and be responsible for safely transporting and securing the furniture during transit.
They will work closely with stagers, placing furniture and accessories during installations. Further duties include wrapping, packing, and protecting the inventory during transit, truck and staging inventory management, and representing Simply Dwell professionally when operating within client homes.
The successful candidate will be expected to complete basic delivery and inventory documentation and carry out routine vehicle checks before and after routes. There is a need for a valid driver’s license with a clean driving record. The role requires workers to lift and move heavy furniture, around 75+ lbs.
Previous experience driving box trucks or delivery vehicles is preferred. Candidates must be reliable, hardworking, and have excellent teamwork skills. Comfort around real estate professionals and inside client homes is a must.
This is a physically demanding role. There will be regular lifting of weights exceeding 75 lbs, moving furniture, climbing stairs, and working on feet for extended periods. Reliability is a crucial attribute for this role, as the team depends on each other to accomplish staging installs punctually.
Preferred experience includes moving or delivery work, warehouse or logistics work, and furniture handling or staging experience. Simply Dwell encourages candidates who can write a note about their moving, delivery, or furniture handling experiences. This will set them apart.
Compensation for the role varies from $18.00 – $22.00 per hour. Interested candidates must be capable of regularly moving furniture weighing up to 75+ lbs and comfortable working inside client homes around real estate professionals. Moreover, prior experience driving a box truck or large delivery vehicle would be a plus. The job is in person.
