One Two Six Design is looking for a Staging Designer. They need a passionate and creative individual who can transform empty properties into desirable homes. The role combines interior design expertise with strategic real estate marketing in a quick-paced, hands-on environment.

The desired candidate should be able to develop comprehensive staging plans suited to a variety of architectural styles, from modern condos to luxury estates. They must be skilled in selecting inventory, curating furniture, art, lighting and accessories to create a cohesive, trendy look for each property.

The Staging Designer will also lead on-site installations, supervising the positioning of furniture and adding the finishing decorative touches. They will work closely with the Warehouse Manager and Appointment Designers to coordinate project management and ensure all pieces arrive as planned.

They will also need to maintain awareness of the current interior design trends and the demands of the Bay Area real estate market.

For qualifications and skills, a proven design eye is required, with preferably 2+ years of experience in interior design, home staging or visual merchandising. They must have spatial awareness to understand the best furniture layout for an empty room or floor plan. The role is also physically active, requiring comfort with standing for extended periods, lifting up to 30 lbs and moving decor or accessories.

Efficiency is key in this role, the ability to work swiftly under pressure to meet tight real estate deadlines is also important. Strong interpersonal skills are needed to collaborate with the warehouse team, movers and real estate agents.
