They are looking for a proactive Junior Home Stager to join their team. The candidate is expected to have a reliable personal vehicle and a valid driver’s license as travel between their warehouse and staging sites throughout the Bay Area is part of the job.
Key duties will include assisting in staging layouts and furniture selection, installing and outfitting homes, transporting decor items, loading and unloading furniture, de-staging and reinstating inventory, organizing the warehouse and staging inventory, and performing light cleaning and last-minute finishing touches before photoshoots.
Ideal applicants should have a keen interest in interior design and home styling. They should have a good eye for proportion, balance, and color coordination. The ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work on their feet for extended periods is also a prerequisite. Applicants must be dependable, team-oriented, efficient, and be able to work under pressure with the ability to meet deadlines.
Remuneration will be on a project basis, ranging between $30 – $50 per hour. The pay is performance-based, with efficiency and speed directly impacting total earnings. There will also be room for increased earnings as experience and speed improve.
The scheduling is flexible but will require availability Monday through Friday. At least one full weekday should also be dedicated to staging projects. There could also be occasional full-day assignments depending on the scale of the project.
