They are looking for a new member to join the team of DC’s premier luxury home staging company. The company specialises in stylising modern, high-end spaces such as luxury homes, lofts and condos spread throughout the DMV region.

The successful applicant will find themselves in an integral role within the company. They will manage the small but vital details, lead team members to ensure deliverables are completed on time, and communicate effectively with clients. It’s a role requiring a flexible, resourceful individual who flourishes in a dynamic environment.

They will work closely with the lead designer, supporting design processes and assisting with home staging. This fast-paced role is detailed orientated, carries significant responsibility and requires someone prepared for very physical work. Duties will include travelling between properties located in DC, MD, and VA, which may entail the challenge of finding parking.

It’s essential the applicant has a minimum of five years’ experience in either staging or interior design.

The typical work week is Monday to Friday from 9 am to 5:30 pm, but this may vary. There may be occasions when work continues into the night until 7 pm during busy periods; weekend work is very rare but a possibility. The average annual hours equate to approximately 40 hours per week.

This role requires a reliable car and someone comfortable navigating DC/MD/VA as the warehouse is located in Rockville, MD, while the design work is carried out throughout the DC Metro area.

Daily responsibilities will range from curating and prepping stages at the warehouse, to measuring properties and assisting with design planning. Tasks will also include installing and de-staging homes, maintaining the warehouse and inventory, and ensuring staged homes are immaculate. Some light manual lifting is required, typically with smaller items.

The ideal candidate for this role will have over five years of professional design experience with robust references, be highly organized, tech-savvy, proactive, detail-oriented and a team player. Comfort in communicating with high-end clients, realtors, and developers is key, as well as the ability to stay calm even under tight deadlines and enjoy physical work. They must be capable of lifting up to 45lbs.
