It’s a part-time gig initially, but there are opportunities to expand into a full-time role.

The ideal candidate is someone who is passionate about interior design, thrives in a busy atmosphere, and is interested in transforming homes into attractive, ready-for-market spaces. Job responsibilities will include aiding in the design and staging of homes using a variety of materials including furniture, artwork, rugs, lighting, and accessories. They will be responsible for packing and unpacking staging accessories and decor with care. Additional duties include helping with staging and de-staging projects across San Diego County and getting inventory and staging items ready at the warehouse before installations.

Qualifications for the role include having experience in home staging, interior design, visual merchandising, or a related design field. A strong eye for design, styling, and space planning is preferred. Candidates should be professional, reliable, and pay attention to details. They must be capable of lifting decor bins and accessories (up to approximately 30 lbs). They should have reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license. They must be prepared to work at different properties across San Diego County.

Additional skills, such as social media marketing experience or sales/client relationship experience, can be beneficial. Candidates who excel in these areas may have opportunities to expand their roles within the company. The pay scale ranges from $22 to $28 per hour based on experience. There are opportunities for schedule flexibility, paid time off, travel/mileage reimbursement, and growth into a full-time role.

At Surfside Staging, they offer professional home staging services across San Diego County, aiding real estate agents, homeowners, and investors in showcasing their homes in the best possible light. Their team concentrates on contemporary, elevated designs that attract modern buyers and make spaces stand out in the marketplace.

If you love design, enjoy working with a creative team, and want to help transform homes into beautiful spaces that sell, Surfside Staging would love to hear from you. Please send your resume, portfolio, and a brief introduction to info@surfsidestaging.com.

The job types are full-time and part-time with a pay scale of $22.00 – $28.00 per hour. The benefits include a flexible schedule and paid time off. The work location is in person.
