Delicious Decors is a company on a mission to change the home staging landscape currently dominated by hobbyist staging or ultra-luxury interior design prices. They are doing this by providing a custom-designed, high-quality staging that is accessible for all property types and sizes.
They are looking to hire a Staging Designer who will be tasked with creating compelling designs that highlight the best features of every home. An ideal candidate for this role is an experienced and dependable self-starter who needs minimal supervision to execute tasks effectively.
Duties include participating in various stages of the design process, including initial property views, warehouse curation, and final on-site execution. The ultimate goal is to ensure the project meets Delicious Decors’ high standards of quality and style. The role demands travel across Santa Barbara, Ventura, and Los Angeles counties for staging purposes.
Responsibilities include conducting property views to kick-off the staging process and maintaining professional relationships with realtors and homeowners for a seamless staging experience. Other tasks include organizing decor and textiles following set standards, identifying and reporting inventory gaps, sourcing decor and textiles that align with styles and staying within budget, and executing cohesive design plans for projects within the company’s 3 core service areas.
To be considered for the role, prospective hires need to have at least 1 year of relevant professional decorating experience in home staging, film, events, or merchandising. The position is full time and requires a minimum of 40 hrs per week with potential for overtime. Other prerequisites include a valid CA Driver’s License, reliable transportation, and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
The job pays between $18.00 and $23.00 per hour for no less than 40.0 hours per week. Benefits for this position include 401(k) matching and a flexible schedule.
