Olive & Opal Interiors, a top-rated home staging company in St. Louis real estate market, is on the lookout for a reliable and experienced box truck driver to join their staging and logistics team. They offer a full-time position which follows a Monday to Friday working pattern. The driver’s typical working hours would be from eight in the morning to half-past four in the afternoon. However, the timing could change according to the project schedule.

Serving the professional homes in the real-estate sector, this driving position offers a consistent weekday schedule, team lifting which means there will be no solo heavy lifting involved, a clean and well-organized warehouse, and professional clients. The job also comes with growth potential as the company itself is growing, and a supportive and energetic team.

The chosen candidate would earn an hourly rate of $23 to $26. Their responsibilities would include driving a box truck safely to transport staging furniture and decor to and from project sites, loading, unloading, and placing furniture and accessories with team members in the client homes. They would also need to follow staging plans and work orders to accurately execute room setups. Additionally, the role requires one to protect furniture, decor, and client property during transport and installation, organize and secure inventory in the truck, and maintain a clean, orderly warehouse. The job might also involve light furniture assembly, art hanging, and final project setup as required.

To successfully fulfill this role, the chosen candidate must be based in the Brentwood/St. Louis area and be able to commute reliably to Brentwood, MO. They also need to possess valid transportation to and from work each day and a clean driving record. Prior experience of driving a box truck is required although a CDL would be a plus, but not mandatory. This job requires physically fit candidates who can comfortably move around in a fast-paced, physical environment, and lift and move furniture and decor (50lbs independently; heavier items with team assistance). Punctuality, reliability, and professionalism are also mandatory along with strong communication skills and a respectful demeanor in client homes.
