They are currently on the hunt for vibrant and reliable Estate Sale Team Members to be a part of their expanding crew. This role is hands-on which involves staging homes, pricing various items, and assisting customers during estate sales. They are looking for someone who tremendously enjoys interaction with people, who has a keen eye for detail, and who takes pride in offering a positive shopping experience.

The responsibilities for this role are varied. As a team member, you’ll play a crucial role in organizing and arranging household items in an appealing display. You might be involved with moving, lifting, and staging furniture, decor, and collectibles efficiently and carefully. Maintaining a clean, safe, and professional sale environment will also fall under your purview.

As part of Pricing and Merchandising, you’ll assist in identifying and pricing a range of items such as furniture, clothing, tools, kitchenware, antiques, and many more. Your role will also involve tagging merchandise distinctly and ensuring items are displayed neatly. You’ll also be expected to support the team in adhering to consistent pricing and presentation standards.

Customer service is paramount. You’ll be greeting and assisting shoppers with an undying sense of enthusiasm and professionalism. You’ll also be expected to process sales transactions correctly using the POS system. Your role also extends to keeping displays organized and helping in packing items that have been purchased.

After each sale, you’ll also be asked to assist with cleanup and organization. Removing unsold items and preparing the property for client review will be your responsibility as well.

They prefer candidates with experience in sales, retail, staging, or customer service (although they do provide training). You should be able to lift up to 40 lbs and can stand for extended periods. They highly value dependability, punctuality, and team spirit. It is important that you possess a friendly, professional attitude and commendable communication skills. Having your own transportation and availability from Fridays through Sundays is a must.
