The fast-paced staging and design company is looking for a skillful Moving Manager. This person will be expected to lead installations and moving logistics. The role is hands-on and requires someone who is organized, physically strong, self-motivated, autonomous, and experienced in handling moving crews, trailers, and transport coordination.
The Moving Manager will lead and manage a team of movers/installers. They are expected to confidently lead solo takedowns and team operations from start to finish. They will be responsible for communicating clearly with clients and the internal team to ensure smooth operations.
The position includes coordination of daily staging deliveries, pickups, and warehouse preparation. The staff will be expected to safely load, transport, and install furniture and décor on-site. Adequate protection and wrapping of furniture to prevent damage during transportation and installation will be an important part of the work.
The Moving Manager will be working closely with designers to accurately execute staging plans. They will be responsible for hooking up and towing enclosed trailers to different staging sites. They will be tasked to track and move inventory using internal systems. Additional responsibilities include maintenance of clean, safe, and well-functioning vehicles and equipment through regular inspections and basic upkeep.
Applicants must meet certain job requirements. These include having experience in moving, logistics, or staging of at least two years. A valid driver’s license with a clean driving record is also a must. They need to have trailer towing experience and be capable of lifting and moving 50+ lbs regularly. Other necessary skills include strong leadership, time management, and communication.
The position demands a reliable, professional, and team-oriented individual. Basic knowledge of fleet and trailer maintenance and experience in maintaining a clean, organized warehouse environment are a plus. Comfortable use of apps and mobile tools for tracking and scheduling is required.
The schedule will be a 4-day work week, Monday-Friday, from 9:00 AM to 7:00 PM. The work schedule may extend beyond regular hours or start early depending on the workload. Hence, a flexible candidate who is comfortable with variable workdays and hours is preferred.
The job is full-time and pays $22.00 – $28.00 per hour. The work will be in person.
