The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the moving and staging installation group, implementing efficient truck loading practices and maintaining warehouse organization. They will be the point person for managing staging installations and removals, training and guiding team members, looking after the maintenance of company trucks and equipment, resolving issues swiftly on staging days and ensuring the team’s productivity and strict adherence to schedules.
A successful individual in this role would demonstrate punctuality and expect the same from their team. They must be organized and take complete ownership of their work, comfortable in providing direction and leading teams, adaptable in a rapid work environment and be a dependable person who others trust for task completion. The person should be able to strike a balance between physical work and team leadership.
In terms of experience, the company is looking for someone who has previously acted as a team lead, foreman, or supervisor and has experience in moving, logistics, warehouse, or furniture installation procedures. It would be preferred if the individual holds the ability to drive box trucks, holds a valid driving license with a good driving record, and can routinely lift and move furniture.
