Simply Dwell, a leading home staging and design company in Northeast Florida, seeks a part-time Home Stager. The position will be based in the Jacksonville, FL (Springfield Warehouse) and on-site, with an hourly rate between $20–$22. This role is not suited for someone looking solely to decorate, but rather for someone who thrives in a hands-on, fast-paced work environment.
Simply Dwell has staged over 3,000 homes, specialising in creating high-impact, market-ready spaces that make homes quickly sell and stand out. They are now looking to increase their team with a Home Stager who has a strong design awareness and is not averse to physical work, as the role combines design execution and physically bringing each stage to life.
The successful candidate will execute staging installs, arrange furniture, artwork, and accessories, prep inventory for de-staging resets, and preview homes for layout planning. They will handle final touches, quick installs, and restocks, and be responsible for maintaining organization and efficiency in the warehouse. They will also need to assist on runs in company vehicles (Sprinter van).
The Home Stager should have experience in home staging, interior design, or a similar field. They need to be capable of lifting and moving furniture and be comfortable being on their feet for long periods. Ideal applicants would be happy to work in heat, warehouse environments, and active job sites. They will also need their own reliable transportation to get to the Springfield (Jacksonville) warehouse, and a highly flexible schedule, as hours will vary week to week.
The role is physically demanding, and applicants must be comfortable with lifting, moving, and working in non-climate-controlled environments. The ideal candidate would be detail-oriented, have a strong sense of urgency, a solid work ethic, and be a great team player.
