The job on offer is part-time and on an independent contractor basis. With a pay rate of $20 per hour, the primary role entails supporting the Ivy Lane team to stage homes appropriately for real estate agents and homeowners. The successful candidate will be juggling duties like moving furniture, warehouse organization, loading and unloading the truck, and unpackaging or assembling the inventory.

The core duties also include the safe and efficient handling of loading and unloading tasks, both at the warehouse and client properties. The candidate is expected to carefully pull and pack the inventory. They need to also keenly use moving supplies like moving blankets, moving straps, and a dolly to protect the items being moved.

Furthermore, they will be required to move and arrange furniture, assemble it, steam fabric decor, and also perform light cleaning whenever necessary. There are no supervisory responsibilities aligned with the role.

This opportunity calls for candidates with at least a high school diploma or general education degree. Alternatively, candidates with 1-2 years related experience and training will also be considered. They must have warehouse or materials moving experience, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to package items with utmost care. The candidate will be expected to maintain a clean and safe working environment, work well under shifting priorities, and be part of a team.

Their capacity to read basic instructions, short correspondence, and memos is crucial. They must also demonstrate the ability to practically apply instructions provided in written, oral, or visual forms. Equally important is their potential to handle situations involving a few concrete variables within standard situations.

The job requires, in addition, a valid and clean driver’s license, reliable transportation, and the physical capability to lift up to 50 lbs. The work location for the role is labelled as ‘in person’.
