The successful applicant will work closely with the Design Operations Manager where they will implement staging projects, manage inventory, and improve warehouse operations. Main duties of the role include planning and executing staging installations, collaborating with the Design Operations Manager to efficiently finish installations and warehouse tasks, reviewing upcoming projects in advance to create staging plans. Additionally, the job holder would need to search locally for inventory, assist in purchasing furniture and decor to boost Hevenle’s staging projects, and help in keeping the warehouse tidy, organized, and ready for upcoming projects.
The qualifications for this role include having a reliable means of transportation to travel within the Austin area, strong design instincts and aesthetic eye, being comfortable with working independently and as part of a team, and the capacity to adapt to a changing schedule. They should also be willing to do manual work including moving and lifting, have a positive and proactive attitude, communicate clearly with the team and handle clients warmly, and be comfortable in wearing activewear that allows for movement and hands-on tasks.
