Peace of Mind Designs is a reputed firm providing luxury staging, interior design, and remodeling services for last two decades. They are looking for assistance in the north coast San Diego area to enhance their home staging business, mainly by elevating the aesthetics of luxury homes up for sale.

They are currently seeking a Part-Time Staging Assistant. The person filling this position will be responsible for assisting in home stagings for both Vacant and Owner-occupied homes.

The main tasks involve offering physical support to Lead Stagers on their projects like packing and unpacking of accessories and furnishings, steaming beds, cleaning and touching up furniture, and assistance with furniture and art placement.

The person must assist Lead Stagers during home walk throughs. They will take measurements, plan the space, photograph rooms destined for staging, and determine the decor items needed.

The person must have an eye for detail when selecting furniture from their inventory to suit the style and price point of the home. They would also have to select accessories to create harmonious rooms that blend seamlessly with the style of the home.

The Staging Assistant is also expected to work with the moving team on staging days and collaborate with the Design team to complete each project professionally and on time.

Additional responsibilities include warehouse support tasks like organizing, managing inventory, and making efficiency suggestions.

They must also give administrative support, which includes utilizing inventory software to manage staging projects, track inventory, take before and after pictures, inspect properties, maintain the condition of the house, and attend to follow up items among other tasks.

Applicants must have reliable transportation, unlimited texting capabilities, and regular access to a computer or laptop. This physically demanding role requires frequent ladder climbing, lifting 50 lbs., long hours of being on feet, and stair climbing.

A business casual dress code is expected along with comfortable, closed-toed shoes.

Ideal candidates should ideally possess 1-2 years of home staging experience. Being organized, punctual, collaborative, result-oriented, and having a keen eye for detail are key traits. A passion for home interiors and design is crucial, as is the ability to work independently and multitask in a fast-paced environment.

The role is part-time, with a pay rate of $20/hour, depending on experience. The job requires a flexible work schedule as hours can vary within the range of 15-30 hours per week throughout the year.
