Studio Walsh Interiors, a staging and interior design company, is in need of a seasoned Lead Home Staging Designer. They are looking for a professional with refined design skills, strong leadership capabilities, and proficiency in executing detailed staging installations.

The Lead Designer is responsible for setting the aesthetic direction of each project. They ensure the end result is market-ready and aligns with the design standards of the company.

The primary responsibilities for this role include establishing the design vision for each staging project. They will lead and guide junior designers and assistants. The Lead Designer is responsible for overseeing selections of furniture, art, bedding, and styling with the final say on design approval.

Using the Stageforce app, they will select furniture and manage staging details. It is their duty to guide and manage design crews in both the warehouse and on-site. They are expected to maintain an efficient workflow and uphold clear communication during daily installations.

The Lead Designer also conducts pre-stage walkthroughs and design consultations. This includes detailed note-taking and photography. They are required to travel to different staging locations within the Seattle area, but will be based in the Lynnwood warehouse. As needed, they will source and shop for high-quality design furniture and accessories.

To qualify for the role, a minimum of 1-2 years of professional home staging experience is required. They must possess a proven ability to lead and manage a design team in a fast-paced setting. Excellent spatial planning, attention to detail, and a strong design sense are also needed. A reliable vehicle is required for this role and mileage will be reimbursed.

This is a hands-on role that will require movement between a warehouse and properties. Comfortable yet professional attire and footwear are recommended.

The pay range for this job is $27.00 – $29.00 per hour.
