The principal obligations of the role are to operate company trucks or vehicles carefully to move staging furniture and décor to and from various work locations. Duties will also include loading and unloading furniture, artwork, and accessories, and carrying out meticulous home staging. Other responsibilities will embrace the safe and secure wrapping, packing, and storage of items, with the added need to manage inventory.
Assembly and disassembly of furniture will be required, along with the maintenance of a clean and organized warehouse, trucks, and inventory. Basic vehicle inspections will need to be conducted, with any maintenance issues being reported. They expect timely deliveries and pickups from the driver, and a professional demeanor should be displayed with both clients and team members. All safety procedures and driving regulations must be adhered to.
The qualifications for the role include the possession of a valid driver’s license with a clean driving record. Additionally, a minimum of five years’ driving experience is required. Experience driving box trucks or delivery vehicles is preferred. Previous experiences in moving, delivery, or warehouse are a plus, along with the ability to lift and carry heavy items repeatedly. A strong attention to detail, good communication, teamwork skills, punctuality, dependability, and professionalism are all needed.
Preferred skills include home staging, interior design support, or furniture installation experience, basic handyman skills like assembling furniture and familiarity with inventory management systems.
The work environment will comprise a mix of warehouse work and on-site residential staging projects. The role will often involve lifting, bending, and standing. Local travel is required, with the possibility of occasional early mornings or extended hours based on staging schedules.

The schedule will be a day shift and on-call. The applicants should have at least three years of experience as a Home Mover Driver. Day shift availability is preferred. The work location is in-person.
