A hardworking and detail-oriented Home Staging Designer is needed to create cohesive, market-appropriate design plans that enhance residential properties for sale. This person will be responsible for designing entire homes using the company inventory, creating visually compelling spaces that will appeal to target buyers.
It’s an independent role that requires quick project turn around. The chosen individual will spend their days selecting and packing furnishings and decor from a 10,000 sq ft warehouse and installing the designs into the company’s portfolio of homes.
The ideal candidate will possess strong spatial planning skills, refined design instincts, and exceptional attention to detail. They will need to be comfortable managing multiple projects and working efficiently in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment with minimal supervision.
The key responsibilities involve designing full-home staging plans that align with property style, demographic target and current market trends. They will produce detailed, room-by-room staging plans in Stageforce, including furniture selections, layouts, and pull lists.
This person is expected to work with the operations team to ensure inventory availability and prepare accurate load sheets. They may also conduct on-site walkthroughs to evaluate layout, flow, and overall staging needs.
Support will be needed on installation day to ensure the final design aligns with the approved plan. A high standard of visual merchandising, styling, and attention to detail must be maintained.
This role involves professional communication with homeowners, real estate agents, and internal team members. Assistance may be required with inventory organization, returns, and warehouse coordination; warehouse work includes unpacking decor and linens and maintaining overall organization.
Important skills include proficiency in Stageforce or a willingness to learn staging software quickly. Previous experience in home staging or visual merchandizing is preferred. This role requires a strong understanding of interior design principles, space planning and project management. This role requires someone who can effectively communicate with different teams and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Day-of staging responsibilities include hanging art, setting up displays, making beds, and detailing furniture.
Must be willing to work independently in a large warehouse involving tasks such as unpacking boxes and organizing decor, art, and furnishings.
Experience in high-stress, deadline-driven, and physically demanding environments is necessary for this role.
The pay rate for this role is between $28.00 and $32.00 per hour.
