So So Spiffy is hiring! They are a luxury home staging and furniture company with a design-forward, fast-paced environment. They are currently in need of an Office Manager for their Birmingham, AL team. They are seeking an individual who thrives on organization and detail attentiveness who can effectively keep their creative team on track.
The team encompasses a range of busy stagers, designers, and doers who require someone to handle the daily operations. The best fit is an individual who is proactive, familiar with technology, and can stay calm under pressure. The role requires involvement in scheduling, logistics, billing support, and office management.
The Office Manager will need to perform a variety of tasks. These include managing office operations on a daily basis to ensure efficiency, scheduling jobs, meetings, and deliveries as well as supporting logistics like coordinating trucks, teams, and inventory movements. The role also involves creating internal documents and simple marketing pieces using Canva, managing inventory and customer records via Shopify and QuickBooks, handling contracts and paperwork through DocuSign, as well as dealing with billing inquiries and assisting with invoicing and payment follow-ups. There will also be the need to assist in customer communication, follow-ups, and general admin tasks as well as learning and using AI tools to help improve systems and workflow.
The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented and dependable, comfortable with managing multiple tasks and adjusting priorities, and possess excellent communication and follow-through skills. Quick adaptation to technology and familiarity with Canva, Microsoft Word, Shopify, DocuSign, QuickBooks, and AI tools are a must. A candidate who enjoys a fast-paced, team-oriented environment is a perfect fit!
A bonus would be a candidate with experience in staging, logistics, or operations. Natural organization, interest in creating order, and appreciation for design and the desire to work in a creative industry would be appreciated.
