They are actively seeking an Assistant Stager to join their team. This role is seasonal, with peak activity springing in early Spring through Fall. The ideal candidate will bring staging experience, a passion for interior design, high organizational skills, and a willingness to juggle multiple responsibilities in a brisk, multifaceted work environment.
The Assistant Stager will be responsible for numerous warehouse tasks including managing, moving, and organizing furniture, bedding, art, and accessories. The job also involves furniture selection, tagging furniture and accessories for homes, and project installation which includes packaging and installing furnishings for residential real estate properties.
The role demands maintaining organization in the warehouse routinely and keeping online inventory up to date. They will conduct site visits to capture photographs and measurements for upcoming projects.
The Assistant Stager will need to nip to pick up furniture and accessories as needed and prepare to travel 45-90 miles around the Bay Area. They are expected to carefully pack accessories and furnishings to be returned to the warehouse, patch small holes in walls from hanging artwork, and clean and report any accessories and furnishings that need cleaning or repair. They will be entrusted with social media upkeep and inventory management.
Looking for a great task manager with a passion for design, a team player with a positive attitude and the ability to take direction. They must be physically capable of lifting a minimum of 50 lbs, have their own cell phone, driver’s license, reliable vehicle, and clean driving record. Compulsive use of social media, particularly Instagram is a plus. Knowledge of inventory management and experience with Stageforce is desirable.
This role is seasonal with peak months running from early Spring through Fall. Dependent on performance, this role has the potential to grow into a full-time position. The pay is $23.00 per hour with shifts spread across 4 or 8 hours from Monday to Friday. Weekend shifts may be required as needed.
