A Home Stager is needed in a growing team. This individual must have five years of experience in real estate home staging. They will be responsible for managing interior design and home staging services. Salary will be negotiated on the basis of experience.
The responsibilities of this role are multifaceted. Firstly, they will need to connect the Manager with realtors and sellers regarding staging quotes and consultation requirements. They need to coordinate the staging schedule with an assistant and see to the delivery arrangements.
They will be expected to inspect properties to assist with determining staging quotes and ensuring properties are ready for staging. Visiting the warehouse to pack and organize furniture and staging accessories for loading is an essential part of the job.
They are expected to work with the team to prepare, pack, and stage properties. This includes coordinating with the delivery team to bring furniture, art, and accessories to the listed properties.
Design work is a significant part of this role, with the successful candidate being responsible for selecting color palettes and matching furniture to improve the site. They must take photographs after the staging process and send these to the Manager for quality control purposes.
They will have to ensure that all company items are kept clean and well organized, particularly when properties are destaged. Managing team activities and schedules is an additional responsibility. The job will require travel from home to work locations in San Jose, CA.
Qualifications for this role include five years of full-time experience in home staging, residence in San Jose, familiarity with the tasks expected, excellent organizational skills, and a keen eye for detail. The candidate must be capable of lifting objects weighing up to 30 lbs, a fast learner, and a good team player.
