Aura Home, a boutique home staging company located in the San Francisco Bay Area, is seeking a reliable, creative, and highly motivated individual to fulfill the role of a Home Stager Designer. The company specializes in delivering modern, elegant, and neutral interiors to facilitate quicker property sales.
The successful applicant will bring design concepts to life and take charge of managing projects from commencement to completion. They will participate in a diverse set of tasks, from selecting and coordinating pieces to physically setting up homes and assisting junior team members. This part-time role has the potential for expansion into a full-time position based on performance metrics and the evolving needs of the company.
The job demands the handling of a variety of responsibilities. These include managing staging jobs, creating staging plans, supervising team members, curating the inventory of decor pieces, and maintaining stringent quality control measures. The candidate will also be responsible for tackling on-site challenges, overseeing delivery logistics, and caring for inventory. A significant aspect of the role involves working closely with the Creative Director and various design teams to remain updated on current trends and customer requirements.
Prospective candidates must be equipped with a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation. Other attributes include possessing a keen eye for interior design, the ability to move heavy objects, excellent time management skills, and the ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines. The successful applicant will be punctual, detail-oriented, and maintain a positive and diligent working attitude. A certain degree of flexibility with regard to working hours is required to accommodate a rapid project turnaround.
Although not obligatory, prior experience in home staging, interior design, or real estate is highly valued. Proficiency in the use of tools or light furniture assembly knowledge, and social media or content creation skills are also regarded as beneficial assets.
The role offers an hourly rate that will be determined based on the individual’s level of experience coupled with opportunities for growth within the expanding company. The role is part-time with a pay rate of $27 to $30 per hour. The expected workload ranges from 15 to 30 hours per week, offering flexibility in scheduling.
