The job opening is for an experienced home stager/stylist, ideally with a minimum of three years’ experience in staging designs. The candidate should be an imaginative problem-solver with hands-on experience, having operated in all design phases from initiation to execution. The company is based in Union City, but its services extend to all clients in the bay area.

The job demands for the candidate to have a minimum of three years’ practical experience related to home staging/design. They should be self-starting and comfortable in a rapidly changing environment. The ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines effectively, and participate actively in the design and implementation of each staging job is a key requirement.

Mobile tasks such as packing, lifting and unpacking accessories are part of the job. They must cope with duties, including art placement and hanging, and be prepared to lift up to 50lbs. Multitasking and coordination with team members during installations and removals are required.

They must have a keen eye for diverse designs and attention to detail, and be interested in or experienced in interiors, art, or decorating. They should be capable of choosing and combining pieces from a large inventory to match with the needs of a given project.

Working well independently or in a team with other designers is a core attribute, to create unique and cohesive designs that fit with the unique character and architecture of every home they stage. Adaptability and flexibility are key, with enjoyment derived from work requiring frequent shifts in direction.

Excellent customer service skills, strong verbal, written, and organizational skills are expected. Prior experience in multiple projects and excellent time management skills are desired. They should be hardworking, punctual, dependable, forward-looking, eager to learn, goal-oriented, and possess a can-do attitude.

Finally, having a valid driver’s license and a clean driving record is a prerequisite.
