Ty Karges Home, a home staging and interior design company based in San Jose, CA, is looking for a new addition to the team. This firm specializes in luxury modern home staging that incorporates a neutral palette. Their designs often factor in different styles including mid-century modern, transitional, and eclectic. They keep the home staging designs varying to suit the architecture and individuality of each home, but always maintain their signature style of clean lines blended with lush textures.

They are in search for a creative and dedicated Home Stager, someone who would appreciate the chance to work under Ty Karger, the principal designer. The ideal candidate will bring strong work ethics, an eye for detail, and a willingness to grow.

The key responsibilities of this position include leading home staging projects, taking room measurements, planning furniture layout and color schemes, selecting and packing inventory from the warehouse, and installing the selected items with the assistance of a team. Occasionally, the home stager might also need to source and purchase specific items.

The right candidate will have, at minimum, a year of experience in related fields like Home Staging, Visual Styling, Prop Styling, Interior Design or Interior Styling. Although not necessary, a degree in a design-related field along with proficiency in interior design softwares like Sketchup and Revit would be appreciated. The company seeks someone who is creative and passionate about design, comfortable with both teamwork and leadership. They appreciate a problem-solver who can independently manage tasks and provide effective leadership to team members.

Other skills necessary for the role include basic computer operations for email communication, spreadsheets, and presentations, as well as physical ability to lift at least 25lbs. Owning a vehicle is necessary, as the job involves traveling to and from the warehouse and staging sites.

The job offers full-time employment with a pay range of 28 to 36 dollars per hour. All duties performed are to be done in person.
