One Two Six Design is on the hunt for a Staging Designer who is full of creativity and energy. They are looking for someone who can transform empty properties into homes of aspiration that entice buyers. It is a challenging role that demands a balance between interior design expertise and sharp real estate marketing strategies.
They expect their Staging Designer to have the ability to devise comprehensive staging plans for all types of architectural styles. This may range anywhere from luxury estates to modern condos.
Another key responsibility is the selection of inventory. The Staging Designer will have to discerningly choose pieces like furniture, art, lighting, and accessories from their warehouse in order to achieve a harmonious and current look for each property.
They also need to take charge during on-site installation or “install days”. They will direct the staging team and oversee the arrangement of furniture and other items, adding the final touches that really bring a space to life.
The Staging Designer will also handle aspects of project management, coordinating with the Warehouse Manager and Appointment Designers to make certain all pieces reach the property correctly and on time.
It is essential for the Staging Designer to be in sync with current interior design trends, as well as have a keen understanding of the real estate market in the Bay Area.
The perfect candidate will have a minimum of two years’ experience in fields like interior design, home staging, or visual merchandising. They need to possess spatial awareness and be able to visualise the best arrangement for furniture by looking at an empty room or floor plan.
This is a physically demanding role as it involves being on one’s feet for long periods, lifting items up to 30 lbs, and moving small decor and accessories around.
Efficiency is crucial as the Staging Designer must work quickly under pressure to meet stringent real estate deadlines.
They also must have strong communication skills to facilitate collaboration with warehouse teams, movers, and real estate agents.
Interested candidates should forward their portfolios and resumes via email.
This is a full-time role with payment ranging from $27.44 – $33.04 per hour. Expected hours per week range from 30 to 50. Benefits include paid time off and the work location will be in person.
