Dependable transportation and punctuality are paramount to the role due to the need for regular staging installations.
The responsibilities of the Staging Designer encompass various domains. It includes creating extensive staging plans catering to varied architectural styles and meticulously selecting inventory such as furniture, lighting, and art for each property. The designer will be the team lead during installation days, directing the placements of furniture and putting the final touches for creating eye-catching spaces. The position also involves coordinating with the Warehouse Manager and Appointment Designers to ensure prompt delivery of pieces. The designer will need to stay updated with the latest trends in interior design and the real estate market of the Bay Area.
The qualification criteria include a minimum of 2+ years of experience in interior design, home staging, or visual merchandising. The designer should possess excellent spatial awareness to be able to visualize the ideal furniture background for photography and flow. The role necessitates physical activeness, including lifting up to 30 lbs and constantly moving light decor and accessories. It also needs the capability to work efficiently, especially under pressure for meeting tight real estate deadlines. Strong interpersonal skills for collaborating with the warehouse team, movers, and real estate agents are favored.
