The work entails careful handling of all items to prevent damage during loading, transit, and placement within homes.
Participating in heavy lifting tasks is also a requirement for this role. This includes moving large furniture pieces and décor items safely and efficiently. Furthermore, the individual will help in setting up staging layouts according to project specifications, ensuring each piece is correctly positioned for optimal visual appeal.
The individual will be responsible for maintaining an organised work environment. This involves correctly storing tools, equipment, and staging materials after each project. Additionally, effective communication with team members is required to coordinate route driving, timing, and specific client requests for every project.
Even though prior experience in customer service or warehouse environments would be desirable, it is not a requirement for this role. The individual should be tech-savvy in order to work with inventory tracking systems. They should also have a valid driving license and experience operating similar box trucks or vehicles. A sense of familiarity with route driving is necessary.
The individual should be able to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently during furniture moving or setting up tasks. Demonstrating the ability to work on feet for long periods while maintaining safety standards is also critical. Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with team members and clients during busy projects are essential.
