The company is considering applicants to fill the role of a Home Staging Mover. The person will be tasked with loading, unloading, and positioning furniture in homes scattered across San Diego County. This part time position will require 20-30 hours per week from the employee, with a possibility of becoming a full time role. The duties for this role include loading and unloading furniture, artwork, and decor at multiple homes and the company’s San Marcos based warehouse. They will also be expected to handle and transport items with care. They must follow instructions from the staging lead to place items as per the preplanned design. Maintaining cleanliness and organisation in the work environment is also desired. Additionally, the candidate may be required to help with furniture assembly or adjustments, and will need to maintain clear and respectful communication with team members.
The ideal candidate would be able to lift and move up to 75 lbs safely. They should have flexible availability as the staging times can fluctuate, thereby requiring reliability and adaptability. They should possess a positive attitude, strong work ethic, and have a team-player mindset. Possessing a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation is a must. Experience with moving, warehouse work, or staging would be beneficial but not necessary.
The compensation for this role will be $20 to $25 per hour depending on experience.
