The designer will work together with senior designers to create staging concepts that improve property appeal. Design software such as SketchUp, AutoCAD, Revit, Rhinoceros 3D, and Adobe Creative Suite will be used to make detailed floor plans and visual presentations. The designer will also help in choosing furniture, lighting fixtures, accessories, and color schemes that align with the latest design trends and customer goals.
In addition to design responsibilities, the role involves project management tasks. These include budgeting, scheduling, and working with contractors or vendors on renovation projects. The designer is expected to prepare detailed drafting documents using CAD and Bluebeam, ensuring every design plan is executed accurately. The successful candidate will also contribute to sales efforts by recommending appropriate lighting solutions. Site visits for inspections, measurements, and overseeing installation processes are also among the duties.
The role requires proficiency in SketchUp, AutoCAD, Revit, Rhinoceros 3D, Adobe Photoshop, and Adobe Creative Suite. Knowledge of interior design principles such as color theory and space planning is also necessary. Ideal candidates will have strong drafting skills with experience in CAD software like Bluebeam or Revit. Furthermore, they need to be familiar with construction processes, renovation projects, and contracts management.
