A thriving home staging company located in Orange County is seeking to broaden its design crew by recruiting a highly creative, vibrant, and design-driven individual for an exciting new position.
The key duties of this role include aiding the Design Manager and Home Staging Stylist in constructing and designing each staging task. The person will be expected to load and unload the van at the project site or warehouse, too.
Additionally, this role involves the packing, unpacking, and placing of accessories and artwork as well as packing and unpacking bed linens and accent pillows. The chosen individual may also need to steam bed linens and curtains, and the making and the hanging of beds and curtains respectively.
The efficient candidate would be required to take care of and arrange inventory through carefully inspecting products after use, returning items to their rightful spots, and identifying any pieces that are broken or dirty. Moreover, they would support the Design Manager in buying inventory and cleaning project sites after the staging is done which includes activities like wiping surfaces, hoovering, sweeping, and dusting.
Key prerequisites for the candidate are having a valid driver’s license along with a clean driving record, the capacity to carry and move at least 30 pounds weight, and the skill of multitasking and coordinating with team members to finalize installations and removals. A particular focus will be placed on having a meticulous eye for details and color schemes, and to choose furniture, art, and accessories aptly for the home’s style.
Although a degree in design or currently pursuing one is preferred, a high school diploma or equivalent is necessary. A minimum of one year’s experience in interior design or interior design school is mandatory, as is a valid driver’s license. The candidate should be willing to work in-person and be available for day shifts.
The position is part-time and earnings range from $18.00 – $20.00 per hour. Lastly, in applying for this position, it would be crucial for the candidate to indicate whether they are currently attending design school or have completed a design program.
